Enjoy the morning

I do love to enjoy morning time and I love to do it slowly. I don’t know what most fascinates me, maybe  the calm, the brightness of the light, the lightness of the air or simply the awareness that the whole day is in front me. When my timetable allows me to do it, I prefer to practice my workout in the early morning because I feel myself fizzy (unfortunately since when I completed my studies, it happens rarely) .

Although my tasks or timetable don’t leave me much time, anyway I don’t give up on enjoying my cup of coffee or tea, more often two, awaking easily. This is the time that I cut out for me as a ritual, something like an appointment with myself, moment of “asleep meditation”.

While I’m tasting my hot beverage (yes, I drink hot stuff even these boiling days), waiting for the stimulating effects, I like to read some pages of my current book, or skim the latest posts on my socials, or browse inspiring blogs looking for images that could trickle my fancy and wake up my imagination.

No matter of what I have to do or when, I raise up from my bed one hour before, just to “have the time for taking my time” (ok, if I have to leave my home at 6 a.m. I do an exception).

This way of beginning the day particularly suits to me because I’m a lark, an early-rising kind of person. What about your morning and rituals? Do you have a favorite moment of the day for cutting out some time for yourselves?
