Playing with color codes
From CMYK to RGB. Or from Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Key-Black to Red-Green-Blue. Translation: from the ink based color code to the light based one. Yes, because for those who are not familiar with this graphic stuff, there are two different ways to make and to name colors. What you see on your screen is based on light, while everything around you is based on ink. In the first case if you put together every hue from the solar spectrum you’ll obtain white, in the second case if you mix up all the different colors, it will turn out black. Quite fascinating, uh? What that in one case is black (the dark, when you shut down the light), in one other is white (your paper leaf). But this boring extract of my color theory knowledge is just the excuse to share with you a new illustration. I have never been very familiar to this sort of strong black lines, too much tough for me. In fact, I don’t even wear black (hard to believe but that is). I wanted to try something different and I have to say that this new taste is whetting me!
